Apache Hive connector (DataStage)

Use the Apache Hive connector in DataStage® to create jobs that read and write data.

Prerequisite

Create the connection. For instructions, see Connecting to a data source in DataStage and the Apache Hive connection.

DataStage properties

In the Output tab (for a source node) or the Input tab (for a target node), go to the Usage section, and select Use DataStage properties to access properties that are specific for DataStage. These properties provide more features and granular control of the flow execution, similar to the "optimized" connectors.
