You can create IBM Cloud services from the Cloud Pak for Data as a Service services catalog to extend your capabilities.

These core services provide key functionality within the Cloud Pak for Data as a Service user interface:

These services add tools or compute resources to projects:

• IBM Analytics Engine adds Spark environments.

• Cognos Dashboard Embedded adds the dashboard editor.

• DataStage® adds the DataStage flow editor.

This service adds a separate workspace to Cloud Pak for Data as a Service:

• Watson Query adds a Data virtualization workspace where you can create virtual tables that segment or combine data from one or more data sources.
