Manage and adjust your lineage graph to get comprehensive visibility and control of the data pipeline.

Required permission

You must have the following user permission:

Managing your data lineage graph

You can manage and adjust your lineage graph to serve your use case. Use the canvas to explore the lineage you created.

Use the Canvas assets panel to:

Find an asset in the search bar.
Select what assets to view or hide.
Highlight an asset and all its children that are on the canvas. You can highlight multiple assets on the canvas at once.
Center the graph on a node you are interested in.
Show all children of assets at once.
View the Asset metadata panel.

Lineage graph settings

To view and change the settings of the lineage graph, click Display settings icon. There are separate settings for the canvas and for the assets that can be applied.

Relative path
Business terms
Classifications
Data quality
SLA rules compliance
Lineage flags

In the Display name section, select a different type of display name for items. You can choose the current name, the original name, or the AI-generated name that is suggested by metadata enrichment as the display name for your lineage assets.
